Why do you believe you are important?

Do you believe you are important because others see you that way, you are crucial to the job, team, community, etc that makes it function correctly or assures a better chance at success or profit? Do you feel important because you believe the skill set you have will make things around you or that you are involved with better? Do you feel important but can’t narrow down the reason as to why you are important you just feel that you are? What if you feel you are important but no one agrees with you?
