Do you think parent(s) of "unfavourable" looking babies know it?

I really don’t want to offend or get into some horrid debate about whether or not there are “ugly” babies.

I think we’ve all seen at least one baby in our lives that was “unfavourable” looking (huge ears, weird looking head, huge nose, wonky eye, etc). Most of us don’t usually voice the observation/opinion to the parent(s).

So, do you think the parent(s) know that their baby is not as asthetically pleasing as other babies?
