How long does Fedex take to send something ?

Asked by Truth_and_Freedom (122points) March 9th, 2011

How long does Fedex take to ship something ?

I left my cell phone, and my friend went to Fedex yesterday (Tuesday). It’s now Wed and I haven’t received it yet.

We live in the same state, California. We live like 3 hours driving apart from each other.

I’m always on my phone so I feel very empty without it lol.

Does anyone know how long this will take ? Or when I should get it ?

He went to Fedex Tues. Thanks.

Depends on the delivery method chosen. The overnight costs a touch more, so obviously the shipper didn’t want to pay a few bucks extra. Get a hold of your friend and ask them for the tracking number. From that, it will tell you exactly when your package will arrive.

It depends on how he shipped it. If he sent it ground, it could take a couple of days. If he sent it overnight, then it will be there overnight.

So even though we live in the same state, and live like 3 hours apart driving, it will still take a couple of days for it to reach me ? Correct ?

Do you guys think I will have it by Friday ?

I always have my phone with me so I feel so weird without it. I know my phone is blowing up.

Does anyone think I will get it by tomorrow ??

It seems likely. Ask your friend for the tracking number as @12Oaks said. then you can look online and see when it is scheduled for delivery.

I doupt he has the tracking number, or kept it.

He/She will remember how much they paid, with that and the FedEx website you can probably figure out when you’ll get it.

Just fill in the Rates & Transite Times form and match up to the closest method.

I ran a quick example for a town 3 hours from me, the longest it would take is two days so you should have it tomorrow.
