If you have seen the Finnish documentary Into Eternity, what did you think?

Asked by gailcalled (54644points) April 2nd, 2011

This is about the storage of radioactive wast for a long time (100,000) and as a permanent solution. Unfortunately, documentaries such as this don’t get the huge audience that they deserve. How to spread the information?

Movie was made by Finns and about Finns. Everyone spoke almost flawless English.

In my experience, most Scandinavians speak amazing English.

I shall watch this documentaary at my earliest convenience (i.e. tonight). I love good documentaries, and recommendations matter.

Report your reactions, if you are so inclined. Note (it’s hard to miss) how the form of the film reinforces the message.

This movie never mentions or discusses what nuclear waste does to the human body, animals and plant life. It focuses on very different but vital other issues. It is also short (75 minutes) and there is not a wasted frame. Try not to blink.
