Where could I buy a very small cat in the UK?

I am searching for a very small kitten to buy. I am most interested in the ‘micro’ Persian variety. Although there is a lot of selection in the US, I am quite limited to buying one in the UK for the time being.

I have not had much luck in finding such kittens for sale in the UK. If anyone has some suggestions or recommendations I would love to hear it.

Although I know adopting an animal would be ideal – it is simply not what I am able to do right now, and I require something extremely small and manageable. I respect adopting very much, but it is not an option I am considering currently.

I will want to buy my cat from a small, personal or family breeder – nothing of a commercial sort.

Again, any knowledge anyone could provide me with finding this particular variety of cat in the UK would be greatly appreciated!

Preloved.co.uk has some kittens for sale. Whether they are “micro” or not I don’t know. Just out of interest, how much smaller is a micro cat to a regular cat? It may be worth thinking about getting a female, regular cat as they tend to be smaller than the males anyway.

If you’re looking for a smaller house pet, have you thought about getting a rabbit?

You could try animal charities like the RSPCA… maybe they would have the particular one you are looking for.
If you want, you could even put an advertisement in the local newspapers.
