A Fluther glitch, why no edit functions for PMs?

Was it overlooked or a glitch that when you are composing a PM you get no preview to see how it looks and check spelling and such before you post it, and if you post it to discover a typo or something else, you can edit it to fix it. Was that a glitch or an oversight? I know the creators maybe didn’t test drive the whole site or may not have needed to test everything but on top of not being able to edit your interest/tags this another area you can’t edit, what is up with that?
