If you delete your account can you then use the same email to register again?

I want to change my user name to a better one now that I feel my stay with the jellies will be a long and prosperous one. The only way I can see to do that is to delete my account so my question is as above, if you delete your account can you then use the same email to register again?

Ask @augustlan the site manager. She may let you change your name and keep your lurve points. I think they generally allow this one time. You can pm her.
