Can't start minecraft server on windows? Ram problems?

Whenever I try to add more ram for the minecraft server (using the batch file) it says

Error occurred during initialization of VM
The size of the object heap + VM data exceeds the maximum representable size

I am trying to set the ram amount to 4024 4 gigs in other words

I have 6 gigs of ram. Why won’t this work?

Running windows server 2008 r2

even though I have 5 gigs of ram even trying to use 3 or two gigs of ram doesnt work, wtf
