What is a cool way to incorporate a cement block wall into a room design?

I am trying to re-design part of my business. The entire place is finished in natural woods, brown tones, and modern lines. There is a small area that I want to make stand out from the rest. I had thought of making it more industrial looking. two of the walls are concrete blocks currently painted in a light tan color. Other than painting them cement gray, what other inexpensive finishes or ideas can someone suggest without having to cover them with drywall?
