Problem with os x Lion?

Asked by nmguy (528points) August 12th, 2011

Recently, I’ve had a problem typing while on Safari. I recently installed os x Lion and am wondering whether this is the problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyoe have a remedy?

I’m still on 10.5.8 and all my browsers act weird at times. Not moving to Lion until all the print drivers are updated for my system. I’m hearing about all sorts of sniglet problems haunting color calibration accuracy for print shops.

note to self: those who lead at the front of any expedition may get the first rewards, but they’ll also suffer the first dangers too

Is your Safari updated?

I just found the culprit: MagicPrefs, which I downloaded a couple weeks ago. Every time I lightly touched the trackpad, the auto zoom feature would kick in.

Turned off Trackpad and life is good again.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I am going to look into Firefox, anyway.

Upgraded to LION 10.7.1 I use Google Chrome. How is your typing a problem? Letters jump, automatic tab, etc? Example of how it’s not working. LION is working fine for me, besides the “double tap feature” and I can no longer swipe across pages on my Chrome browser. :/
