Do you have a gut feeling about the case of the missing 8 month old baby in Kansas City?

Earlier this week, in Kansas City, an 8 month old girl went missing from her home. The baby’s last name is Irwin. She lived with her two parents and (I think) two siblings in a small house. The mother was home with the kids at the time, the father was at work. The news said the home was unlocked, the 3 cell phones were stolen (or missing) and the parents say the baby was taken from her crib.

The parents have supposedly stopped cooperating with police and investigators. The mother failed a lie detector test. The parents were on the Today Show this morning, and they said their focus is on looking for the baby, and getting help in finding the baby. The mother was crying her eyes out. The father was relatively stoic.

On the news this afternoon, they said the police are searching landfills. It seems the parents are suspects (or at least the mom is a suspect).

What is your gut feeling on this case? Do you think the parents are innocent or do you think they had something to do with the baby’s disappearance?
