Why would a man in a suit and a cop be looking for me?

I received a phone call from an old neighbor today saying that there have been 2 men looking for me. One in a suit and one was a cop. All they said was it was a legal matter. The problem is, they left no phone number or information. Now I’m worried out of my mind thinking I’m going to jail! How in the world am I supposed to find out why these mysterious men are trying to find me? As far as I know, I haven’t done anything serious! I have unpaid debt. Could this be the issue? I’m filing for bankruptcy with my tax return in a few months. Not sure if that matters. Please put my mind at ease. All I keep thinking is that I’m going to get a knock on my door one day and be handcuffed and taken away from my newborn! :(
