Which song starts with bells?

A friend is looking for a song which she heard several years ago (I assume it’s a big 60s hit, but could be wrong). She tried humming the melody, but nothing springs to mind.
The most characteristic clue is that it starts with the sound of bells (the only song I can think of is AC/DC’s “Hell’s Bells” here, but that’s not it). After that there is a piano, and it’s quite slow and melodic, possibly a love song, sung by a man with a deep sweet voice.

So our clues are: man singing a love song on the piano, introduction has bells in it.
