How come Amazon does not charge half price for calendars after the New Year?

Barnes and Noble reduces its calendars to ½ price after the new year. Border’s used to do the same when they were in business. Most book stores reduce their calendar prices after the new year in order to get them out. How come Amazon does not reduce calendar prices to half price after the new year?
