Ever used dehydrated bell peppers? How did they work out?

I have terrible luck with bell peppers. I never have one in the fridge when I need it, so then I go buy some. THEN I never use those and they go bad. I don’t want to have to rush out to the store every single time I need one pepper.

I saw Penzey Spices sells dyhydrated bell peppers. I’ve used dehydrated onions and they work quite well in a pinch the rare times I’ve run out of onion. But because onions keep almost forever, I almost never use them. I think I’d use the bell peppers a lot.

I just wondered if anyone has used them and found them as a halfway decent emergency bell pepper replacement.
