What's a good vocal pitch correction software?

Asked by Atheros (320points) January 15th, 2012

I’m looking for something similar as Melodyne, at least the GUI. If the performance is nearly as good, even better!
I’d be using this program to pitch correct vocal tracks, but I think I made this clear in the question already.
Thank you for your help!

The only one I know of is AutoTune.

But another fun software is Vocaloid which lets you input digital music and typed lyrics, and the software “sings” the song for you.

@HungryGuy I’m so trying Vocaloid tomorrow… I was stuck for interesting stuff to do but I think you’ve just saved my day (or at least part of it)

Voice lessons

@HungryGuy Auto Tune looks nice, thanks. Yeah, I know about Vocaloid, might try to have fun with it as well, but for now I just need to correct pitch of already recorded vocals.
@College_girl Is that a software or you mean just like singing lessons? Because this just isn’t the case, as I’m not only recording myself.

Singing lessons. And I just assumed. My bad.

Autotune and the like belong in HELL! They have done more damage to real music than anything by the corporate bastards have. Learn to sing like everyone else and if you hit a baad note here or there, your passion (you’d better have some) will make it alright.
