How do you delete a pop on vocals in Logic Pro?

Asked by auhsojsa (2516points) February 7th, 2012

It the pop isn’t showing in the audio track, as there would show a spike on the sound wave form but it doesn’t show any peak. I’m also positive it’s on the vocal track only because I’ve selected only it to track the pop down. Thanks for the help

EQ and a lot of compression, if it’s in the actual recording.

An audible pop should definitely be visible in the waveform. Try zooming into the waveform at the place where you hear it. Here is a thread showing a visual example: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=63523

If it is on the track it will appear in the wave form.

I’m not sure if Logic Pro has the feature as I am an audacity user. However, you should be able to “zoom in” on the wave form at the location surrounding the pop and you should see the distinctive sharp “mountain and valley” signature of a pop.
