Songs or movies that remind you of something that pains you or is negative – is there a way to make NEW memories for them to make it positive?

It was time, for me.

When my Mom slipped into a coma, two days before she past, we were playing this album in her hospital room (the album is called Cinema Serenade)

It took three years before I could listen the album again. Now, when I do, I find it comforting.

Even pain can be possitive. Sometimes its good to be reminded of something painful so you have a new appreciation for the good times and how not to take them for granted. Certain songs can also remind me of my fathers death but some remind me of the good times as well. Either can be painful but after a good cry theres usually a calm that follows. It helps to clean out all the stupid stuff you hold on too everyday and makes you realize the good stuff you want to hold on to.
There is nothing better than a good cry. It helps more than hurts.
