How good is HDTV7?

My video card has 2 DVI outputs, but it has some sort of HDTV7 output. How good is this output? I was thinking of getting an adapter from this to DVI, but is the quality the same? Whats the screen resolution limit/info in general.

May not work, HDTV requires a “hand shake”, directly between devices.
