Do you think that one day we will have to declare Lurve on our income taxes?

Asked by talljasperman (21916points) March 26th, 2012

I read that If one is paid In goods or services one needs to claim it as income and pay tax on it as if it were money. Does this hypothetically include Lurve or the answers we receive?

Not unless one day Fluther is profitable enough to actually pay us for Lurve, either in actual money or in “tokens” like gift vouchers that can be exchanged for services or products elsewhere.

Already two years I have to turn in 25% of my Lurve.
And all they do with it is building more highways and purchase military material.

No, it’s the age of free lurve.

If the irs could figure out how much they are worth then they would find a way to tax us lol

Only if you are a “1 %-er”

The national debt is $14,000,000,000,000+. when we get done paying taxes, Lurve is all we will have left.

@zensky If that ever happens, you’re screwed out of luck! Or maybe not…maybe all those other accounts you have can act like when you don’t do your tax return for like, three years. oh wait, you deleted them, didn’t you? XD

Soon, I think. I already list the Flutherites following me as dependents.
