Any ideas about what to do with a robin that's established his breeding territory at the end of my house and his prime rival is his reflection in my sliding glass door?

This nutcase bird is pounding on my door all the time. We have a few short trees at the end of the house and he’s taking that area for his love nest. He sits in the tree, puffs himself up, and slams into my sliding glass door. Not once in a while either. He hits it four or five times a minute, sometimes more. Any ideas? As always humor greatly appreciated.
