How would you describe Swedish culture?

Asked by _Whitetigress (4378points) July 27th, 2012

From it’s pop culture to the music they listen to, to its underground, to its “type of class” ie mainly lower, upper, middle, to their social structure overall. I’d love to know about it! Thanks.

I grew up in American Swedish culture. My grandfather fled from there after beating the tar out of some one in the late 1800’s and settled in the land of milk and honey to raise a family of four prominent and endearing citizens, at least most of them.
Today, is not like when my brother and friends went. I am sure it is like any other European country with a socialist economy and a huge underground of desperate people getting by.
and not listening to Abba.
