Have you ever owned a light-colored parka?

A couple of years ago, I bought a light-blue winter parka. The jacket looks nice, fits well, and keeps me very warm, but it’s always filthy! The collar gets soiled by makeup. The cuffs and zipper placket usually look grungy, sort of like a dustrag after a thorough trip over the furniture. I need to launder this thing at least once a week.

The quality is excellent, and the parka was very expensive so, no, I can’t simply discard and replace it. I just need to live with it.

Lesson learned—don’t buy a light-colored, nylon jacket!
