What is your opinion of the First Lady (any First Lady) appearing on the Oscars ceremony broadcast?

As you may or may not know, Michelle Obama was on the Academy Awards broadcast on Sunday night, February 24, 2013. She was at another location, The Governors’ Ball which was at the White House. She announced the nominees for a certain award, and then the winner.
To me, it was kind of youthful and fun, and IMHO Michelle Obama is youthful and fun.
I heard today on the radio that some right-wing media outlets (they specified The Washington Post op-ed and Rush Limbaugh radio show) were harshly critical of her, saying it demeans the FLOTUS and POTUS.
What is your opinion of this?
