What is the best venue for selling artwork in Palm Springs CA?

I paint as a hobby, and would like to try selling some of my work. Can anyone recommend a consignment gallery- OR would it be better to say, set up a table at one of the sidewalk events?

I like the LaQuinta Arts festival. I have a beautiful hand spun bowl I bought there. The quality of most of the work is nice and not just crafty junk although you can certainly find that as well.
