"When you're here, you're family" - where is that place for you?

Just came back from a visit with cousins that I have recently really connected with. I have grown to feel really comfortable and at ease in their place; I can relax and be myself. Particularly for people who are single or have grown up kids, I am wondering if you have made new families – whether blood relatives or not. I feel like this can be an important enrichment for many of us. If you still live with your kids, when do you most feel like a family?
