Is there an electronic device to measure blood pressure?

I read about advances in monitoring and collection of physical data by new devices and even by smartphones. Things like sleep measurement and patterns, caloric output, moods, even continuous monitoring of blood glucose levels.
I have hypertension and would like to see if there is a new alternative to pumping up the cuff every morning. I would like to see how my blood pressure fluctuates during the day.
Any breakthroughs anyone knows about?
