Have you ever considered calling the cops to teach your kid a lesson?

…did you expect the police to use deadly force?

On Monday, a father and his 19 year old son got into a fight over whether the father would buy cigarettes for his son. When Dad refused, kid got angry and took off with the Dad’s truck.

To teach him a lesson, Dad called the cops to bring the kid and the truck home.

The kid led police on a chase, at one point ramming a police cruiser, and driving erratically at speeds “up to 70 miles an hour”, according to the article.

The chase led to a university campus where police no longer have jurisdiction.

There a police officer ordered him to stop the car.

He answered by revving the engine.

The police officer fired six shots into the vehicle, killing the driver.

The driver was unarmed.

The police officer has been cleared of all wrongdoing.
