Men: If it were up to you, what type of clothes would you like to see women wear?

The other day, I was helping my co-workers set up at a fancy hotel for our annual, large holiday party for several hundred guests. I was chatting with a male co-worker who is about 60. I told him from my years of attending this and other fancy parties, I realize that nobody cares about your handbag and nobody cares what you wear on your feet. We take pains to choose a fancy little handbag, and we take pains to pick fancy shoes that match our outfits, and yet nobody looks at either. When we’re on the dance floor and it’s dark, nobody is looking at your feet. Most of us who have been around know by now to bring a regular bag, also, to take “giveaways” home in, too. Your handbag and your bag sit under the chair and nobody looks at any of it.

I told him that I heard on a news show that the majority of women dress for other women, not for men. (I don’t know the details of this so please don’t get upset if this piece of fluff is something you don’t agree with. At this point it’s rhetorical). He agreed, and said his wife also concerns herself with her manicure and men don’t care about that, either. I asked him what would men like to see women wear and he said “tight.”

I realize this is just one man’s opinion. Men, if you had your choice, what type of clothes would you like to see women wear?
