Would this innovative product help kids (details inside )?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24463points) December 1st, 2015

When I was a kid I was scared of the dark and often covered my head with a blanket. Alas I couldn’t breathe with the covers blocking fresh air. I was wondering if I could use a snorkel or hole In the blanket to let the air in so I could breathe. I’m thinking it could be for cold apartments in winter as well as for those who are scared of the dark. What do you think ?

I’m calling it a bed snorkel. Or you can make a hole in a blanket for free

@RedDeerGuy1 A quick Google search found that It has already been invented so I guess I go with the hole in the blanket. Or I buy a Bed snorkel for myself.

I think most kids are satisfied with a night light’s ability to chase away the monsters under the bed.

@Darth_Algar How about a watch night light? or a bio-luminescent (glow in the dark ) blanket.

Yeah, when I read this question, I immediately remembered this

Personally, I just let my pets deal with whatever. Between a few fierce cats and a 175-pound Doberman/Irish Wolfhound-mix that I could tell some stories about, I never worried about what lurked in the darkness. Even the Vashta Nerada would’ve had a hard time with that dog.
