i have paid for the 2.0 in the ipod that was defective, the new one comes with 1.1.4 with software upgrade, at least, but i spend like $100 in the app store, will they refund all that money or i lost it?

Sign in with your iTunes account and it should let you redownload everything for free.

Its easy to get back! On Mac: go to \Users\<username>\Libarary\iTunes\iPod Software Updates\ iPod 1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw

Just open it and it will install onto your iPod Touch!

Joe’s suggestion should work, and if not I dont know if this would but did you try clicking ‘Check for Purchases’ under ‘Store’?
