What kind of info are you more willing to share anonymously?

I am a practitioner of what I call “consistency of self.” Basically, whatever I would share with you face to face is exactly what I would share with you online, anonymously or not.

Same goes for my personality, my opinions, etc. I am the same me no matter where me happen to be.

I think to do otherwise is cowardly and/or deceptive quite frankly.

This does not, however, discount the idea of “time and place”, meaning you converse with certain people certain ways out of respect or appropriateness.

I share everything here and on similar sites, but I delete and start a new profile every once in a while to keep from having everything be connected to one profile.
I don’t share much on Facebook because it’s dangerous except in personal messages with friends, but I don’t really trust that either sometimes.
If I know you in person I don’t say much, but if I’m in a relationship I share pretty much everything with that person.
What kind of info?
I talk about my past relationships anonymously because I don’t want to tell everyone we know and have them gossip about my life.
I like that I’m anonymous on fluther and I can get opinions and reactions and learn without unwanted attention in my daily life.

I’m more open, bordering on venting a little. Time and place is infrequent and too short. Close relationships are more precarious than many of us realize. Not worth ruining over petty politics or opinions. I have done enough of that already.

Depends on how anonymous I am, and how much is any of it your business.

I’m more likely to share my mental health diagnosis’ and my weight :p

There is no anonymity.

I share on the net nothing more than I would share publicly IRL. I’m a pretty out-front guy in real life. If I like or dislike you, you know it right away.

Stuff I like to put up my butt.
