When is it OK to return take out food that you got the evening before?

Can you do it for any reason?

I got a craving for chicken wings. I’ve never had any from Wing Street but it sounded convenient and quick. Rick agreed. I ordered 6 Hawaiian Teriyaki wings for me, and 6 buffalo wings for him. I had to take the girl’s word for it about what was on them, but they just sounded good.

So Rick picked them up and brought them home. My first bite I almost gagged. It was just nasty. I did, actually, eat two of them because I was SO hungry, but I couldn’t eat any more than that. If they were good I could have eaten all 6.
After Rick ate his buffalo wings I asked how they were. He said they were nasty. He said, “It was like they just poured vinegar and sugar on them and called it good.”
I looked at him a little shocked because that is exactly what mine tasted like. So, not only were they nasty, he didn’t get buffalo wings, which I think are supposed to have some sort of barbecue sauce on them. It sounds like he also got the Hawaiian Teriyaki.
Problem is, he ate all of his so I don’t see how we can ask for a refund for those 6, can we? What about a refund on mine because I couldn’t eat them?

And who ever decided those things were worth selling?
