How does one use a candy coating machine with a panner?

Asked by Ltryptophan (12091points) November 15th, 2018

After a many failed attempts to successfully candy coat with a small scale panner and candy coating machine, I am out of ideas on how to best accomplish this.

If you have any ideas on how to do this, or can point me to experts who would like to share their expertise I would be very grateful.

There are machines that are very expensive that do this automatically, but I do not have access to those machines nor are those industrial methods relevant to my application.

M&M quality would be great, but I can settle for slightly inferior to that.

Thanks for your help.
