What is the difference between a masseuse and chiropractor?

Has anyone been to both? When is it a good reason to go?

I go to a chiropractor every few weeks and have had massages as well.
I go to the chiro as I have a problem with a disc in my neck and it definitely helps with movement.
The massages aren’t a regular thing but they are fabulous. Some are better than others at it though.

The difference is that a chiropractor is a doctor of sorts who adjusts your spine/aligns the spine which assists in making you feel better. A masseuse gives a massage which feels good, but in no way heals the body in a way an adjustment does.

A masseuse is a legitimate profession.

The masseuse gives you a happy ending.

I am under the impression that a chiropractor is science, more or less, and a masseuse is just a physical comfort.

The difference is that a “chiropractor” is a quack whose profession is based on pseudo science.

@Dutchess_lll Some chiropractors may include real science based medicine but “chiropractic” is a bunch of made up B.S.

A masseuse is a female massage therapist. A male practitioner is a masseur.

Why do my kids both swear by their chiropractor? Thanks to me they’re prone to back issues.

Because they mix in massage techniques to obfuscate their nonsense.
