I have a ceramic pot for a plant that I want to decorate with nail polish. Is it safe for the plant to do this?

I have a coffee and an aloe plant I want to do this on.

Welcome to Fluther. Yes this will be safe for the plants.

It would be safer for you to do this, rather than the plant.

Okay, I was kidding. Yes, nail polish is safe to decorate a flower pot intended for a living plant, as are commercially available glues. Just make sure any chemicals from any paints, glues, or nail polish are dry before any wet soil is inside.
