What does it mean to consolidate ones power? (P&R)

I majored in political science and switched it to physics along the way- consequently, powerless. Even so, life happens… a person may learn, I have, that they are not alone- “E Pluribus Unum”, out of many, one. Taking action on this learning may lead to a realization of a consolidation of one’s power. One’s power rests in the collective. We are Fluther- we are one!
