Why would a package from Ebay take so long to arrive from the US even though I live nearby?

I’ve noticed that packages are like airlines…there are certain places they have to go before their destination. Like if I’m flying from North Carolina to Florida, they take me to Houston first (made-up example).

Weird. It shouldn’t be taking that long. Use of DHL seems uncommon for shipping locally. It’s used more for international shipping if I’m not mistaken.

We have USPS, UPS, Fedex. None of which would take that long. Maybe not even USPS during a pandemic. Must have something to do with how much the sender paid for the service.

Or the product was not readily available for immediate shipping maybe.

Are you sure the company in Utah is sending it ?

Maybe package is really coming from China instead !

@mazingerz88 I double checked their page on Ebay and it says they’re located in Utah and they ship to other countries, so that’s probably why they use that service.
But I do wish I would’ve known how long it would take….I would’ve ordered faster shipping.

The product could have shipped from outside the US?

Didn’t Ebay give you a tracking # you could click on to get the shipping details?

@Brian1946 Yes, but sometimes it wouldn’t update and it would just say en route. The days it didn’t update, I have no idea where my order had gone to. I am just curious as to why it’s taking a long time when it’s being shipped locally.

@mazinger88 I don’t think so…it says it was shipped from Salt Lake City.

Does the tracking page show where it went after Salt Lake City?
