Is there a way I can do this?

Asked by cecildooderbop (192points) October 10th, 2008

I want to buy the Alias phone by Verizon, however I have a different phone company. Can I somehow buy the phone no strings attatched without activating it through Verizon and just have it flashed over to my network?

I don’t know about every company, but there are a few who use SIM cards, and Verizon does not. So if that’s the case, then no, you probably couldn’t do that. If yours doesn’t use SIM cards either, I have no clue. You can always call your provider and ask them.

No. There is no way that you can do this. Sprint and Verizon have different types of networks. Tmobile and Sprint are completely different from those two.

The only phone networks you have that are actually compatible with each other are t-mobile and at&t (and this is only after the phones have been unlocked). Alias is Verizon only.
