My car is showing a light on the dash that looks like a battery what is it?

the light htat looks like a battery is your alternator light. take your car to a local mechanic and have them test your alternator. If your alternator is bad it means that your car is running off of your battery power and will kill the battery very soon

alternator light test or replace your alternato soon or you can have some serious problems
