That sounds like a question for a doctor.

Gas pocket, maybe. I wound up in the ER one night convinced I was dying from something similar, (I have a pretty high pain tolerance) and 5 seconds before the MD walked in the door, I stood up and told my wife to take me home. After 6 hours of breath-stealing agony, it just disappeared.

Could also be diverticulitis, I guess.

i forgot to tell you ( AND AM VERY SORRY ) but i don’t drink anything but bottled water. could this be my pancrious? i do have low bloodsugar. but my levels seem fine.

Don’t know, I’m just an expired EMT, not an internist…I can pull you out of a mangled car and stop your bleeding, but I don’t know much about the pancreas. I think if you had pancreatitis, you might run a fever as well…it is an infection.

ok thank you. i just needed to know if i should go the the hospital or just ride it out til tomorrow. see it has been on and off for the last couple of weeks but it has been there for two days steight now with no fever.

Scale of 1–10, how bad?
Dull, sharp, achy?
Does anything make it better or worse? Any particular position of sitting or lying?

the pain level is at a 8 right now. it doesn’t get better at anything i do or don’t due. and it is sharp pain. and i feel sick to my stomache too.

i am back home from hospital and it is blocked bioducts. they are sending me to my specialist and they need to do the scope down my throat. but don’t know how soon they can do it right nw. i will keep you up dated. thank you all. love rossi

I’m glad you, at least, know what’s going on; sometimes not knowing the cause of the pain is scary, and even worse than the cause itself. Good luck. I hope all goes well.
