What makes people sneeze?

What happens to make the body sneeze and what is sneezing supposed to do for the body?

Looking at the sun, feathers, or lots of pepper. Dust or cat dander, things of that nature

Don’t you all know that sneezing causes your soul to be thrown from your body? Duhhhhhh…

shandling that explains many of the people I know, thanks for clearing that up for me.

Looking at the bright sun causes me to sneeze, too. I don’t know what my nose thinks it’s getting rid of when that happens.
