What is the best way to transfer my notes from my old iPod Touch to my new one?

Asked by intro24 (1434points) January 26th, 2009

Sorry Fluther but I have another iPod question to add to the collection. I just got the new iPod touch and got nearly all of my information transfered over from the old one. However, I can’t seen to find a straight forward way to transfer notes. So far this has been a complicated process that you would think would have been accounted for by Apple. Anyway, I have the old Touch paired with my desktop Vista and the new one paired with a MacBook. Any advice on the best way to transfer the notes or similar experiences?

Thanks.

try emailing your notes to yourself that’ll put them in the email account of the new iPod Touch

I’d thought of that but I need to get the text of the notes in the notes app. I don’t think you can export from the mail app.

yea, theres no way to get anything into the notes app right now. so you can export them via email, but you no way to get them into your new notes app

Look at this as a great opportunity to reorganize and sort your notes.

And more importantly, thank you for not calling it an “iTouch”.

My notes are already pretty organized but I guess it can’t take to long to retype them. I’ve read that you can copy a file or download a note adding program. Would something like that work. And I always make sure to take the time and call it the iPod Touch as intended. “iTouch” seriously bothers me.

Thanks for the help so far.
