How long can ice cream last with dry ice?

If I were to put a container of ice cream in a cooler with some dry ice, how long do you think it would last? I’m looking to get something in the order of 3–4 hours.

Is it possible to do this with just regular ice?

if you have a good cooler full of regular ice it will be fine for 3 to 4 hours…

If you use dry ice, make sure you let the ice cream warm up a bit before you eat it. I had a bad experience with my tongue getting stuck to a fudgesicle once…
