The Second LIfe tutorial on help island. Is there a transcipt?

Asked by osakarob (1304points) October 17th, 2007

I want to examine the corpus (words) used by the help avatars in the Second Life help island tutorial. I’m a grad student in applied linguistics and was hoping to use it in a paper. Does anyone know if there is a written transcipt of it?

I’m pretty sure that anything that gets sent to you as a note ends up as a file on your hard drive. Otherwise, if there’s text you don’t have, ask one of the Lindens—this sounds like the sort of thing they’d be glad to help you with.

Second Life has an extensive Knowledgebase on their website, http://www.secondlife.com. Try looking there for instructions and tutorials.

This place is like second life, only the avatars aren’t real, the people are.
