Do any of you use marijuana medicinally?

I’m not looking for a debate about whether or not it should be legal.

A lot of you know I have Addison’s disease. The symptoms of an Addisonian crisis are triggered by physical and emotional stress. While I enjoy smoking pot anyway, I genuinely do use it to reduce my stress. A also have many days where I have trouble eating. I feel hungry, but nothing sounds good or actually eating makes me feel nauseous. Today is one of those days. I find taking a couple hits from my pipe increases my appetite and reduces my nausea.

Among all you potheads, do any of you use it for it’s medicinal purposes, even if that’s not the main reason you smoke?
