Does anyone know a good place for customer jewelry in Chicago?

I am looking to get some designs made into jewelery for my girlfriend. Any thoughts? I would prefer to talk to someone real instead of taking a chance online.

Gato and Sons Jewelers are in Chicago and their website (http://gatoandsonsjewelers.com/) specifically lists “custom manufacturing” as one of their services. I have not been to their shop or used them, but perhaps this is a place to start.
