1) Look in My Account.
2) Yes. Scroll down.
3) There’s a search bar near the top-right.

Also, check out http://www.fluther.com/faq/.

Your questions asked/answers given: On your profile

Reply to: Use the little “at” key like I will here for @barumonkey. A little menu will pop down so you can pick the user you want to reply to. Or there’s PM’s to their profile directly.

Answer via IM: I don’t think so. But don’t quote me on that.

Yup. Like that.

And welcome to Fluther, by the way.

@ctferrarajr So does this mean you are staying , you clearly came here for a reason . Could that reason be the other site was boring , didn’t grab you and give you reason to stay faithful ..

@sandystrachan right now I am still split between fluther and aardvark (vark.com) they both have their strengths and weaknesses and I am deciding.

as for being faithful….i am very faithful to vark.com because they respond to all my emails and fix all problems quick. you should check it out.

So are you here to get people to Aardvark then ?
Seems to me like you are trying . .

1) I know that Flutherbot (Fluther’s IM helper) tells you when there are new questions for you via IM, but I don’t know if you can answer them from IM. I don’t really use Flutherbot. You might want to set up your IM account with Fluther (the settings are in your “My Account” link, then click on “IM Settings”) and fiddle with it to test. P.S. – I do think you can ask questions from IM though.
2) @dverhey pretty much answered this one. If you want everyone to see the response you can do what he suggested. If you only want the poster to see your response you can click on “Thank (user name)” and it’ll take you to their page where you can write them a PM. Checking the public/private box makes it publicly seen b other Jellies who view that persons page or not, depending on what you click. FYI, the “Thank (user name)” button only shows up on questions you ask, but you can always click on the users name or avatar to get to their page if you want to send them a PM anyway.
3) To find questions you’ve asked and answers you’ve given, go to your profile page, scroll down and you’ll see a list of 5 of each. If you click on “Browse more of (user names) questions/answers” you’ll see more.

Welcome to Fluther. =]

@sandystrachan No, I am here to see what this site has to offer and to share my knowledge about other sites. So far it seems that this site is better if you want a question that would be better off with loads of questions and vark.com is better off at getting you a very specific answer (programming question or restaurant recommendations). I am not affiliated with either sites and am just sharing my opinions. :)

From what i know , you can ask a Q with flutherbot but not give answers . I may be wrong i have never tried to answer using the bot

Chongalicious's avatar

@sandystrachan, If you ever do decide to use the Flutherbot, just type “help” and it will list everything it is able to do for you through IM.

sandystrachan's avatar

@Chongalicious I do use the bot have been for a while , just never used it to answer a Q . never seen the need to do it that way , i log into fluther and do that:)

Chongalicious's avatar

@sandystrachan Yeah, good thing you haven’t tried! I’m pretty sure there is no way to do that. Of course not, all you have to do is click on the link! Why bother? lol

sandystrachan's avatar

@Chongalicious The only thing the bot is used for is , informing me of Q’s or responses tho fluther is always open :)
I would install and use anything or do pretty much anything by fluther , i have a fluther sticker and just waiting the next chance to win a fluther prize .

Chongalicious's avatar

@sandystrachan I’m actually pretty new to Fluther, as you can see by my lurve score lol, but the first thing I did was play with Flutherbot! It’s a funny little guy =D
Shhh…don’t tell anyone! I’m already obsessed <=0

sandystrachan's avatar

@Chongalicious I have had many a night sat infront of fluther , and not slept welcome to the realm of sleeplessness and knowledge .

Chongalicious's avatar

@sandystrachan Yesterday, I woke up, grabbed my laptop, and logged in Fluther is my Homepage, so it’s even quicker now I didn’t log out the entire day! I lost some slepp, haha and I became an Information Zombie. I barely even remembered to eat! I love Fluther for being that hypothetical “room full of smart people”, and not one of them has looked at me as an idiot…as far as I know ;)

sandystrachan's avatar

@Chongalicious I haven’t made it my homepage , due to the fact other people who use the pc need google . If it was my own computer it would be homepage , i am booked in for a fluther tattoo in September this year :)

Chongalicious's avatar

@sandystrachan Haha, yep this is my first CPU so I’m making my mark ;)
And I think it’ll look really nice! Are you going to get the jellies that are all over the top of every page? I love those little guys!

Chongalicious's avatar

@sandystrachan wow, you’re a true dedicated fan =P
I’m probably going to be that hardcore for Robot Chicken one day.
I know, it’s utterly senseless when glanced upon; but if you take the time to watch it; you can see that “It takes a heap of sense to write good nonsense.”—-Mark Twain—

sandystrachan's avatar

@Chongalicious I have lots of Robot Chicken to watch again , it is rather funny .

Chongalicious's avatar

@sandystrachan I actually wasn’t expecting fellow fans to be on this site…because well; my parents take one looke at it and go “Turn this crap off! It’s stupid!”
