General Question

I have a HP MediaCenterPc, and it has a slot in the front for a MMC/SD card...

Asked by bumwithablackberry (932points) September 9th, 2009

The thing is I can’t find the icon to access the card in the window, I don’t know to feel dumb, or it’s just not reading it. Got WindowsVista, and I’m looking at the “computer” window at the “Removable Disk” window, got drive k, j, etc. but it doesn’t seem to acknowledge the card.

Mine automatically opens up the files on the card…

Yeah, it’s not doing that, maybe it’s the drivers or something beyond my knowledge, brand of card? I don’t know.

have you tried more than one card? Sometimes if a card is busted or defective it won’t show up.

Normally when you put plus something into a machine it automatically installs it – like with a USB drive or something. HP should have a helpdesk that you can contact for information.
