The battery of my macbook doesn't seem to be charging?

Ok, so my baby really likes to pull the cord off of the computer and now it says it’s charging but it is still in 27% since this morning.. Could it be the battery or just the cord? Also, the little orange/green led on the cord is off.

I have this problem a lot. Unplug the cord on both ends and leave it completely unplugged for a minute or so and then try again. Should do the trick.

If that doesn’t do it. Restart
If that doesn’t do it. Reset the pram
If that doesn’t do it. Try calibrating your battery
